Joe Bryant

Joe Bryant

Joe Bryant knew since he first snooped through his brother’s back issues that he wanted
to draw comics when he grew up. Then he realized he couldn’t draw. Years of depression
followed. Joe poured his mopey, adolescent resentment into scores of composition
notebooks, and filled their margins with endless doodles of the only two characters he
could sorta draw. It took him a while, but eventually the writing became the focus, the
crappy drawings relegated to hastily thrown away Post-It notes. Joe had figured it out–he’d write comics and be constantly envious of his creative partners’ abilities. So far that’s working out okay. Along with his work for Old College Comics, Joe has literary aspirations that are not worth mentioning. Oops.
